Search by EIN or by name. Every audit year the Federal Audit Clearinghouse holds for that organization is listed with the federal awards expended, the threshold that applied, the findings reported and the date the FAC accepted the report. No result is also an answer: an organization below the threshold never files one.
Who signed the audit?
The firm named on the report for that year, described as most recently observed: the Clearinghouse records what was filed for a period that has already closed, not who holds the engagement today.
What if the nonprofit is not here?
Three reasons, in order of likelihood: it expends less than the single audit threshold in federal awards, so it never files; the report was accepted after our last sync; or it files under a different EIN. Form 990 data, which covers far more organizations, is at data status.
